Telephone Fees
The Tangipahoa Communications District #1 is funded solely by a surcharge on telephone service. As of April 1, 2017 the surcharges have been increased by Board action to:
➤ Residential Lines $1.25 per month
➤ Business Lines $2.50 (up to 100 Lines) per month
➤ Wireless $1.25 per month
➤ VoIP Lines $1.25.per month
This revenue is used to pay all salaries and all operational costs for the building, equipment and automobiles used by the District.
